Friendly Platform Guide

Welcome! Let's walk through how MediTouch coordinates all eight specialized roles in perfect harmony.

1. Patient Registration & Checking In

1
Onboarding: The Registrar registers a new outpatient, compiling their demographic details and generating a dedicated clinical OPD number.
2
OPD Card Generation: The Registrar prints out the patient's barcoded OPD Card, giving them physical or digital credentials for rapid card scans later.

2. Clinical Examination & Doctor Directives

3
Directives: During a medical review, the Doctor logs patient symptoms, writes down active prescriptions, and orders any necessary diagnostics (e.g. PCV, ELISA).
4
Admissions Ward: If the patient requires inpatient stay, the Doctor allocates them to a ward bed, automatically setting low-stock indicators and triggering ward rosters.

3. Rapid Pathology & Scan Fulfillments

5
Barcode Scan: The patient presents their OPD Card at the Laboratory. The Lab Technician opens the webcam scanner, automatically identifies the patient card with an acoustic beep, and pulls up their prescribed scans queue.
6
Findings Certificate: The Technician records findings values (Value, Unit, Reference Boundaries) and submits the diagnostic. They instantly print an official, signed A4 PDF laboratory report certificate.

4. Pharmacy Prescriptions & OTC Checkout

7
Medication Dispensing: The Pharmacist opens the prescriptions ledger, views the active medications prescribed by doctors, pulls items from inventory (updating stock records), and dispenses them.
8
Over-The-Counter Billing: For direct walk-in customers, the Pharmacist performs rapid direct checkout billing, instantly printing transaction receipts.

5. Administrative Audits & Financial Ledgers

9
Invoices & Payments: The Accountant processes all medical invoices (billing for ward admissions, medications, and labs) and records payments securely.
10
Identity Approvals: The Super Admin manages the staff directory, authorizes credentials, approves role logins, and reviews capacity dashboards.
